CAMOMILE (Matricaria recutita L.) Flowers 33.3%

According to monographs of the WHO, ESCOP and the E Commission, camomile (or chamomile) is used orally in the symptomatic treatment of digestive disorders, such as mild gastrointestinal spasms, inflammatory states, epigastric discomfort (feeling bloated), flatulence and nausea. It has anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic, antiulcer, carminative, digestive, bactericidal, fungicidal and mildly sedative actions, due to the different active ingredients of the plant.

GREEN ANISE (Pimpinella anisum L.) Fruits 33.3%

The preparations obtained from the plant are used, according to the ESCOP and the E Commission, in the treatment of dyspeptic disorders, such as gastrointestinal spasms and flatulence, especially in paediatrics. It is also used as a taste and aroma corrector.

LEMON BALM (Melissa officinalis L.) Leaves 33.3%

It is used, according to the ESCOP, in the symptomatic treatment of digestive disorders, such as mild spasms. It is also used for sleeping disorders of a nervous origin and gastrointestinal functional disorders. Lemon balm leaves have sedative, spasmolytic, carminative, choleretic and antibacterial actions.

Recommended dose

Children under 1 year of age can take teaspoons to a maximum volume of half to one cup per day. Children of 1-3 years can drink 1 to 2 cups per day. Children older than 3 years of age can drink 2 to 3 cups per day.
